Made in France since 1902 in a small family factory near Thiers. Blaise Dozorme, an expert steel worker, decided to use his expertise to create a small knife-making workshop in his home. His entrepreneurial spirit coupled with a strong personality resulted in his peers naming him “The Wolf”. A few decades later the Dozorme family business would use this nickname as the basis for its logo and graphic identity. Blaise was follwed by Valentin and then Claude in the 1970s. in the 1990s Claudine, Claude’s daughter took over the business and she has introduced a strong modern approach to a classic French business.
